The New England Take was founded by A. J. Kierstead in April of 2021 as a radio show and podcast on WKXL. In August of 2023 the outlet went independent as a website and YouTube channel. You can find the voices of the outlet in print, digital, and radio outlets across New England, including New Hampshire Union Leader, The Concord Monitor, Granite Grok, WKXL, and WDEV.
A. J. is a podcaster, photographer, videographer, news/politics junky, and family man (importance in reverse order). He is a conservative with libertarian tendencies, but views open discussion and compromise as the last hope to fixing our society. He lives in Concord, NH with his wife and son.
