The wife, kid and myself took the drive up to Mount Sunapee Resort for the League of N.H. Craftsmen’s 90th Annual Craftsmen’s Fair. This event is taking place August 5-13th and is definitely worth the trip if you are into artisan created goods or are interested in checking out their demonstrations, every day different artisans show off their craft with schedule on the website. My son was lucky enough to check out a pottery demo where a hilarious potter crafted a clay duck that we carted home. In addition to the artisans, there are a few food venders and the ski lift is running (at an additional fee) so you can go to the top of the mountain, which my son was ecstatic to be able to do. It does cost to enter, but take the family and make an adventure out of it!
