SCOTUS had ruled 5-4 in favor of vacating the 5th circuit court’s stay on the Biden administration cutting the state of TX’s border barriers to allow the entry of illegal immigrants.
The brief order contains no substance, save for observing the objection of justices Kavanaugh, Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch. From this we can—at least—determine that reasonable men have concluded the 5th circuit correctly recognized an emergency situation exists at the border.
That allegedly-conservative justices Roberts and Coney Barrett differ on this point bewrays a loathsome foolishness which defies understanding. It is now clear that in the next administration, the spineless Chief Justice’s retirement must be secured, for the sake of the nation.
